TOP FENDERS LIMITED ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY STATEMENT

Top Fenders Limited (TFL) recognises the importance of managing and reducing environmental impacts to the environment and community from its activities. TFL acknowledges the greatest risk of environmental impacts from its operations is pollution and provides measures to effectively manage this aspect to achieve its target of ZERO pollution. Other significant environmental aspects like consumption of grid electricity, indirect emission of greenhouse gases and possible indirect consumption of non-renewable fuel resources will also be managed. The management system is certified to ISO 14001 standard.

To achieve this standard and meet its responsibility, TFL will:

  • Comply with all of the TFL compliance obligations.
  • Set relevant environmental objectives and targets to ensure continual improvement.
  • Communicate and promote environmental awareness and TFL objectives to its employees and service providers.
  • Monitor environmental performance of significant aspects.
  • Incorporate sustainable environmental considerations in its purchasing practices.
  • Provide efficient waste management system.
  • Aim to place business with service providers who minimise the impact of their activities on the environment
  • Support and work with clients to achieve their environmental objectives.
  • Maintain contingency plans to deal with any foreseeable environmental incident.
  • Maintain a legal register of legal and other requirements which is subject to internal and external audit.

All TFL employees have a role to play in caring for the environment and their responsibilities are detailed in the manual.

TFL Leadership Team has the overall responsibility for ensuring this policy and all environmental arrangements are implemented, monitored and reviewed.

This policy will be subject to annual review to ensure it continues to meet TFL requirement.
